2017 is off to a great start with a visit to BLACKPOOL on January 29th (Sunday) for the

ENGLAND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

.

This is a Qualifier for the British Championships. This meeting features POWERLIFTNG-BENCH PRESS & DEADLIFT Competitions. Lifters will gather at the Oxygym in Layton, Blackpool for this exciting event under the careful Direction of Champion BPO Lifters : Charlotte Wareing and Catherine Iredale

MEET REPORT !!

2016 BRITISH OPEN RECORD BREAKERS CHAMPIONSHIPS : BENCH PRESS & DEAD LIFT

This is the first time BPO Record Breakers championship have been held at the Crystal Place National Sports Centre, England on 11th December thanks to Sam Minster and Terry Smith, Meet Directors
This is an ideal venue for these championships, which has a fabulous gym and equipment set up. We thank all their support and facilities in hosting these championships.
We had lifters traveling from across the UK to show their prowess.
We were treated to some good performances from the lifter entries and good vocal support from the audience. The caliber of lifting was excellent, from an array of lifters.
Sam Minster presented all the lifters certificates of participation and Globe statues and the Annual shields below.
Best Overall Bench Press receiving the Annual DAVID BERG Memorial Shield went to JAROSLAW GALKA with >109 points.
Best Overall Dead Lift was margin of only 0.02. Receiving the Annual EDDY PENGELLY Memorial Shield went to JAROSLAW GALKA with >140, 95 over Runner-up Luke Whitmore with >140.93 points.
**A VERY BIG THANK YOU GOES TO ALL THOSE LISTED BELOW WHO GAVE UP THEIR TIME AND TALENT TO HELP IN THESE CHAMPIONSHIPS**
